Getting Started In Porn - Part 1

So you want to be a porn star and don't know how to get started? Yea, neither did we. But I researched it a lot and still couldn't find much to go on. That's why I started this blog. So I can share what I've learned and help others along the way (hopefully).

Just a month ago we were totally newbies when it comes to porn. A full month later and we're now, well, newbies still! BUT... We now know a LOT more than we did a month ago. This is a big topic so I will break it up into multiple posts. This post, Part 1, will focus on the basics you need to get started.

Get A Camera

Before you do anything else, get yourself some sort of camera. Yes, this can be your phone for now. Don't waste money on the latest 4K handheld just yet, start with your phone. As the saying goes, the best camera to use is the one you have on you. And that's your phone for now.

Already have something better like a GoPro? Great, use it! Look at your GoPro settings and look for the FOV setting and change it to Linear. This will get ride of that horrible "fish eye" look GoPro cameras are known for. That look is fine for snowboarding down a mountain, but it sucks for close up porn.

Lighting Is Key

More important that camera quality, in most cases, is lighting. You almost can't have enough light. We all make this mistake early on. We'll go into more detail on this later but for now turn on every light you can and shoot in the daytime with natural daylight coming in when possible. Avoid your camera's flash, the light from those is not flattering.

Steady As She Goes

Doing solo porn? Then even a cheap tripod is worth getting. Shaky porn isn't fun for anyone. If that isn't an option, get a handheld grip for your camera or phone (they're super cheap). If you have a partner, try doing some with the camera on a mount and some with a handheld for more close up shots. Keep the camera as steady as you can. Cameras with built in image stabilization are great for this!

Preplan The Sex

This sounds odd, but think about the sex positions you want to have. For example, maybe start with a hand job or oral, then sex, then a cum shot or cream pie at the end. Whatever you choose, planning will make things easier. This is especially true when it comes to setting up lights and tripod angles. You may not stick to your plan but it gives you a good starting point to setup your scenes.

Then, get your partner or yourself (use a pillow as a dummy if needed) in position and now focus the cameras how you want them. If you want to keep your face out of the video to maintain privacy then this is really the best way to do that.

Action!

This sounds like common sense, but be sure to check your equipment before you get started. Clean your camera lens every time and make sure to actually hit record before you start! We've forgotten that part more than once when using multiple cameras at a time.

You also need to turn off anything that is annoying. That includes your TV and radio. Besides, having TV or radio music (sounds, video, etc) is actually a violation of copyright laws if you later plan to sell / monetize your video. Most people don't seem to know this even though it should be common sense. Regardless, that stuff is just distracting to the viewer so turn it off.

Fuck Away

At some point, you have to just start fucking. For us, this was a little strange. I mean, we usually don't have 4 lights on while we fuck, it's usually kind of dark. So that was new. Lights add heat and heat isn't pleasant so get a fan going or air conditioning as needed.

Expect your first go to be kind of awkward and crappy. This is normal and this first shoot is more of a test than anything else. Maybe you can use it as your first porn, but if not you'll learn a ton from just trying it. Plus, it's sex so it should be fun even if it doesn't make great porn!

Review It

Don't worry about publishing your porn just yet. Instead, watch it! Do you like it? Is it a little boring? Maybe the camera angles aren't what you hoped for. Maybe it was too shaky. Or, and this is the most common, maybe it's too dark. These are all things you can fix! And we'll cover them in a future post in detail. Until then, watch your porn a lot and then go and watch other people's porn. Note the positions they fuck in and then note where the camera is to capture the best angles of the action. Test out those angles. Practice, practice, and more practice.

Go read Part 2 now.

FAQ: A Little Bit About Milf Stella

I get asked a lot of questions everyday. I mean, a literal metric shit-ton of question (by weight, not volume). Most are personal questions about me and often they're a little too personal so I won't answer them. Other times they're just fine and I answer them. So I figured I'd post some of the most popular questions here. It's going to sound like I'm a bitch, but I'm really not, I just have no patience for morons. How can I see more of you? There is only one way, join one of my Fan Club subscriptions. I'm on MV Crush , Pornhub Fan Club , and OnlyFans . I also have a free YouTube channel . Hey! Hi! How are you? What are you up to? What's new? The single most annoying question I get is a variation on those. It's as if every guy on the planet is one and the same and the unoriginal and most boring person ever. I'm not trying to be rude, but for fuck's sake I don't want to make small talk with you. Do you really care how I'm doi

The Problem With Pornhub Exporting Your Videos To YouPorn, RedTube, and Tube8

I love the majority of how Pornhub works. I like how they allow me to opt in to this service they offer like this one... OPTIONAL SERVICES: Opt-in to automatically protect your content on free websites and gain 5% bonus ad revenue ...which basically says that any video you upload for streaming to Pornhub will only go on Pornhub. You can still sell them as downloads on other sites but you can only stream them on Pornhub. In exchange, they give you a 5% ad revenue bonus (which is peanuts to be clear) but they also protect your content as part of this program. How Does Pornhub Protect My Content? Simple, when they find your videos streaming on other sites they send a DMCA takedown notice to that site to get it removed. You could do this yourself but it's very time consuming. And you sending a DMCA probably doesn't carry the same weight as when Pornhub sends a DMCA. So I opted in to this service so that they can send DMCAs on my behalf. And they have several times and it mostly wor

Morons - Post 1 Of Many

I had a paying member on my Patreon page get all moronic on me. So, I decided to start a new series of posts about morons because I seem to have way too many interactions with complete morons. I'm sharing this with you because it's sort of funny but also so you can understand what it's like to be a girl in the adult industry as well as how not to be a moron yourself. So this guy, let's call him Vic, because, well, that's the name he uses as his profile! Vic is a moron. Not your run of the mill moron, but a colossal moron. Vic joined my Patreon page at the end of March. Literally the end, last day or two of March. If you're not familiar with Patreon at least know that they bill on the 1st of the month, every month you are subscribed. But when you join you're also charged the full fee (based on the subscription tier you choose) at the time you join. There are valid reasons why they do this but basically it means that if you join on March 30 and pay $10 y
